Back to ReviewsCurrent Employee Informatica is a challenging selling environment. The transition from legacy, on premises solutions to a cloud platform is complete but the various services are not at full parody. Even with that challenge, the technology is well positioned against the competition. The most challenging factor with the company is that there isn't strong sales leadership, leading to disorganization and no cohesive sales methodology. Leadership at the highest level appears disinterested in understanding the business and, therefore, is incapable of architecting a strategy to drive an efficient sales organization. You can absolutely make a ton of money at Informatica, the comp plan allows for a good rep to put together multiple $500K+ years; the challenge is that you will need to be disciplined and self reliant. Not the best environment for some, fantastic for others.
