My overall experience was very positive at Informatica. I believe they are well positioned in the data management market and the compensation structure is one of the best I've seen in the industry. The sales cycles are long, complex, and competitive.

Strong overall market fit as Informatica is Gartner leader in numerous Data Management Magic Quadrants. Heavy legacy on-premise PowerCenter customer base to churn over to cloud where lots of companies have made alternate moves with ecosystems or niche vendors. Comp plan continues to deteriorate in terms of multipliers but overall quota pretty static.

When it was good it was good when it was bad it usually was because new upper management had a "Plan" sometimes that worked sometimes that weeded good folks out. Overall, Leaders in the space not always accessible to those in the trenches unless you got 7 figure deals.
