Current Employee Konica Minolta is a great place to learn B2B sales and enter the world of tech (sort of). I worked with great people and enjoyed my job. A lot of freedom and flexibility, as long as they like you and know you're working. It takes a long time to build pipeline - existing accounts given to newcomers will be picked through and renewed by previous reps. Those who've been there the longest keep the golden geese accounts. Lease contracts are 3-5 years, so you have to prospect new business to make any money. If you make yourself known to your existing customers, they'll reach out when they're ready. You'd be surprised how often something triggers a purchasing need - moving, upsizing, downsizing, etc. All in all it is a decent job if you're new to sales, but don't expect to realistically make a ton of money here without sticking around a long time.
