Current Employee3.1Jun 23, 2025Base is low compared to the market. At LinkedIn, SMB AEs all have at least 1-2 years of experience as AE so if you take into consideration, a 70k base in NYC is low. LinkedIn is a product leader in the space so that makes it easier to sell. However, numbers are so high that you need to sell a lot.

Quotas are divided and meant to push new products into the market that clients don’t want at all and are not a good fit for.
