Former Employee It was ok, I thought that Lowe’s was a good company to work for but ultimately it was just a grind. It takes a while t be able to sell commercially for the businesses and you are just working your butt off constantly to try and convince a housewife that she needs a new refrigerator and the bigger and more expensive one is the way to go. They have good employee education and offer a lot of room for growth within the company, a lot of the high level employees at the store I worked at started with my position. It can be hard to learn everything you need to know about the products and it can look bad when you are with a customer and they ask you a basic question that you don’t know the answer to. If you’re not a handy person then i probably wouldn’t work here because you end up needing to know a lot of secondary info to be able to answer primary information. The commission rates really aren’t that high and you end up having to work on the weekends for your best shot at makes the most sales which can suck Browse Other Reviews
