When joining MongoDB, the promise of organic growth was overstated. The sales cycle is over one year, and the expectation of the rep are untenable. This coupled with low control, working at MongoDB is a road to burnout. That, along with a micromanagement Bro culture, leaves a lot to be desired.

I enjoyed working as an ADR at MongoDB. The opportunity to learn and grow is second to none. Compensation is comparatively low and patch/partnership affect earning potential more than they should in some cases.
