Current Employee Interview was grueling 5 rounds that included researching customers and creating presentations.
Whatever choice of gear (i.e. Dell, Apple, HP, etc), AMEX credit card, and cell phone. Never mentioned travel in the interview but require travel: 3 customers per month and all my customers are in different states. You pick all your flights, hotels, rental cars, etc and gain personal rewards.
Get paid based on a monthly quota. Good luck ever going on vacation or being sick. If you miss a week of work you’ll never hit your monthly quota. With traveling to 3 states per month, you’re always sick from the plane and just work through it to hit quota. Required to attend happy hours after work which are about 1 every other week on average.
Reps “used to” hit quota solely based on renewal uplift alone. Now with multi-year renewals in play, reps are required to sell massive modules and upsell the accounts like crazy to attain the numbers they expect. They are expecting companies with under 30 employees to buy $60k FP&A tools plus $50k account reconciliation solutions. It doesn’t make sense and companies are dropping NetSuite all together.
