It’s tough to be at Okta right now. They need to fix the ROE’s and they need to adjust segment lines. You’re going to make money, by there is a lot of political headwind. Managers are great, AVP’s are great, there is a ton of support being given by those folks to the field. It’s above that feels concerning.

The sdr org including management is paid at the average market value. But if you compare us to the same size tech companies, we are well below that mark in terms of compensation. I'm a little embarrassed by my pay level. I wish leadership valued us more.

Okta was a great company to work for but they shouldered the burden of a volatile market. There is no substitute for their offering in their space which gives them market superiority. Channels are a difficult role at Okta as many sellers can take deals direct leading to a lot of time spent on conflict resolution in the traditional PAM role there.
