Current Employee OTE is difficult to calculate because it’s tied to individual quotas, which vary by rep. Optiv uses a tiered commission structure, where commissions are paid as a percentage of sales, and that percentage increases progressively with attainment levels.
For example, consider two Client Managers: one with a $350K quota and another with a $1M quota. The first CM achieves 100% of their quota, earning commission across all tiers up to the highest (90–100%). The second CM reaches only 90% attainment, so they don’t qualify for the top tier payout.
However, because of the larger quota, the second CM still earns significantly more in commission — despite technically being “under target.” Browse Other Reviews
