They could but will need to get sales leaders with actual experience. They’re creating a nightmare sales culture. Never seen anything so demoralizing in my career.

They definitely could capitalize on the AI hype. Their platform is so much more than the AI component. But they've had few big successes with customers, and a lot of unsuccessful or modestly successful deployments. Pay attention to their PR, they recycle the same stories for a reason.

The deal cycle length is more impacted by the fact that Palantir is relatively unknown in the commercial space, and larger product companies are a safer bet for enterprises. The TAM is huge in this space. Every company and every government entity is trying to achieve data-driven operations. Palantir has the beginnings of a solution.

I believe the product is strong, but also has a long way to go. If you're an engineer, or some other product role, could be a great experience for you. If you're in sales, that org is a disaster.

Palantir is ahead of the hyperscalers in their product capabilities, but hyperscalers are investing massively in AI and digital twin. They will catch and surpass Palantir, IMO. Palantir doesn't have a secret recipe, they were just pioneers. But others will quickly follow.
