Paychex was a great company to work for. The training and support is top notch, and the company and it's leaders really value their employees. Management is also very supportive and wants to see you succeed. It's a grind in the beginning but it pays off later down the road. The HCM space is a bit challenging right now as newer, tech-based, alternatives to HR and Payroll are emerging, but depending on your territory you can be very successful. Overall, I would recommend someone looking to get into HCM sales to apply for a position at Paychex.

Overall, Paychex is a good lace to start in HCM and they will teach you a lot about the industry. However, their leadership is a mess and directionless, initiative change with the wind and the culture is “what have you done for me lately”. Take a role in SMB, Not a serious player in MM or Enterprise.
