Base pay clearly hasn't been adjusted since pre-COVID. It's a big company with a lot of sales channels which can result in deals being taken from you by other teams even after you've sold them. Mid-Market team is struggling, but a decent place to start as an AE with little/no experience. High pressure to hit KPIs currently, but an easy product to sell to smaller businesses.

Paychex is a solid company with a good product. Management is good and they provide great training and resources. The salary and commission structure leaves much to be desired and keeps getting worse. Service is terrible on the back end causing issues and deals to fall apart.
