Paycom is a prospecting heavy outbound sales org. You should expect to be cold calling for set time-blocks twice a week and on out in the field with customers and in-person prospecting the rest of the time. Compensation potential is very high and I personally know sellers who've made over $1MM in commissions multiple times. Executive leadership is also happy to pay high commissions for people who are executing and driving new business.

The job has changed in the last few month. Went from “Inside Sales” to “Emerging Markets Account Representative. Job is now 85% outbound, but base went up from 50k to 65k, and deal sizes went up.
