PayPal has some great things going for it and needs to lean in heavily to where the future of payments is heading. Selling credit card processing is often about pricing and timing and PayPal is heavily saturated. Venmo is definitely an opportunity. Overall, you’re given the tools you need but PayPal is a product driven company, not sales driven, so often times you’re waiting on the latest product to be market ready and that can make or break your year.

It takes a long time to learn the product and processes to set your self up for success. Each sales team is compensated slightly differently. And our team had a low % of reps hit quote last year, only to have this year exceed that number a lot, and now we are hearing how targets are changing for 2024 and some sales will not be weighted as heavily.
