Great starter job out of college. 6 month training program, company truck with gas card. Leads are provided. Bonus is based upon economy and picking the right account. Can make a decent bonus on New business. Unfortunately, at the end lots of corruption and nepotism with questionable leadership decisions. Manager was getting huge kickbacks from stone supplier, after he quit we had 5 years of inventory at the highest price. Each sale was at a negative GP that affected your bonus. Moving up was determined if daddy was a customer. Really easy job none the less, could do absolutely nothing, not even show up and still get paid.

Gained great experience out of college and got my foot in the door for a B2B outside sales role. Annual pay is below average and there is NO commission for SDR/CSR/BDR. Company offers management training programs which will more than likely require permanent relocation (to region in need). No CRM system in place and little to no guidance for building a pipeline.

Really low pay, very poor commission structure. You could max out 6 months in and have zero incentive to push. It is paid out once yearly, 3 months into the next year. If you leave a day before the date, you forfeit the past years commission. Old school in every way, old technology stack, old boys network, pay was good in 1974.
