I moved around quite a bit and this has resulted in much higher than average compensation plan, but the modern climate is very poor for my particular industry due to business challenges. The hardest part of selling at Red Hat is the fact that everything you sell can be obtained for free if the customer has the knowledge and capacity to self-support. IBM is only recently pushing influence, mostly by focusing on the very largest customers and deals and letting the rest fend for the scraps.

Favorite company I ever worked for. Excellent management, culture, product, and team. Limited toxicity. Only left to make more money in a promotion jump.

Good to gain experience and learn about platform selling. Quota and territories are tougher due to unrealistic goal.
