Are the recent Glassdoor reviews true that Samsara is becoming toxic and now a risky place to work?

I used to think of Samara as a one of the top places to sell for with an amazing demand. Many of the recent reviews on Glassdoor (legit not the 4-word reviews) say its becoming toxic/meat grinder.

Sadly, it’s accurate. When samsara was pre-ipo it was difficult but still achievable for many reps to hit goal. Times have changed the last 2 years - with new ServiceNow leadership - the vast majority of reps want to tear their hair out. If you like your sanity, I’d avoid.

It seems like all the answers are negative so I’ll give my take.

Samsara has become more corporate. But also way less toxic and boiler roomy. In 2021 you could make more money but also could get fired easily. Now it’s way more chill. Pros and cons. Just some growing pains but overall still good

Its true its really toxic no team work involved, a lit of outbound, account dupe in SFDC , if ur lucky with your account set hit the goal its easy but if not get ready to suffer. And besides that you will have 1 year top to settle down if not get ready to search cause you’re probably be on PIP

Toxic id say is an overstatement. It’s still a good place to if you wanna be in tech sales. However, the role for commercial is basically 90% outbound, and you gotta get reallyyyyy lucky with a good book as a mid market AE if u wanna do well
