Current Employee2.6Mar 24, 2024Leading up to the Cisco acquisition, Splunk has been trending downward strongly since I was hired. Things were getting worse in every way and very few people hit quota. Those who did had ideal accounts and did not source those deals. Even sales directors have admitted to me in private that luck is the primary factor influencing quota attainment in commercial.

Deal cycles extremely long; very complex technical solution, contracting, and implementation/success. Challenging, but super rewarding!
