I work for Stryker/Sage products. The competition is very strong. A deal in the hospital, especially a larger system can pay very well for a long period of time. Your products are bucketed commission wise so if one item is doing poorly you can still make money on other categories.

My overall experience as a trauma sales rep was rewarding, stressful and a great learning opportunity. Orthopedic trauma is a lifestyle and not for the faint of heart.
