Current Employee Pro - remote. Vehicle reimbursement. Encourages professional networking like BNI/Chamber but not mandatory. Digital Marketing consulting to SMBs, if expectations are set properly, is very rewarding.
Cons - the “highs” are high but the “lows” are very very low. If you are in a sales slump a living wage is unattainable. No 401k matching. Product Market fit is way off and the SaaS product, since I’ve started 2 years ago, has had to reinvent its identity multiple times. (From SMB CRM tool, to outbound marketing/social media integration, to now post sale marketing automation) Company is currently in major debt. Though are still hiring sales roles, lay-offs are taking place across all other departments. Hardly ever interact with colleagues outside of a morning team meeting.
