Is UKG currently hiring for sales positions? Can you provide some insights into the interview process for sales roles at the company?

UKG is always looking for talented salespeople across roles. You can expect a screening call with a recruiter and then an interview with a VP-level sales manager. Depending on the role, you might also interview with a Group VP.  I recommend you look closely at any changes to the sales organization around the consolidation of legacy Kronos and legacy Ultimate Software sales roles and territories. A role on the new logo sales team, as opposed to a customer base role, would be preferred based on where the company wants to go. I would also look more at an SMB role versus a large enterprise role, where Workday proves to be a formidable competitor. Screen your manager carefully and ask questions like overall win rates for net new business for the team, how many reps on the team made quota over the last 24-36 months (as opposed to the team making quota for the manager or how successful the manager has been historically), and the tenure of the team in the role (as opposed to their overall UKG tenure as reps move around in verticals and territories). Being the fifth or sixth rep on a tenured team can be a revolving door.

I would run from this organization! The absolute worst.

UKG was the most unprofessional sales org I was ever a part of. Politics, managers playing favorites, messing with territories and compensation and the list goes on. “CO. Culture” is toxic.

Leadership is always interviewing. Sales leadership has a metric of how many candidates they have available, regardless if they have an active opening.

-They sell a pipe dream of a crazy ote and stock that will make you rich. It's a lie.

-Avoid new logo at all costs
