2,000+ layoffs at UKG last week can someone provide intel into how deeply the sales organization was impacted?  What's the vibe like after it happened?

All aspects of the organization were heavily impacted. We are not winning in the new logo space like we used to. Steer clear. 
The "vibe" is horrendous and will.be for quite some time.

UKG has a good story, when I was new and repeating the kool-aid I was successful, but once your first clients go live and you see the disappointment and broken trust in the people you spent so much time selling to it becomes difficult to

Kronos and Ulti merged 5 years ago. The layoffs happened last year (4 years after the merger). What do you expect to happen with 2 people working the same job, someone has to be let go. The company floated both people for the same job, paid their benefits, etc.

Every part of the company including Sales was impacted.  Apparently sales attainment was not a factor as some high performers were let go.  Cuts to engineering and support will probably impact ability to upsell existing customers.  With so many competitors in this WFM space UKG is no longer able to command the market like they used to.

From what I hear from others, it was handled very poorly. Not very "our purpose is people" of them. Tenured reps who had a track record of making club, some as recent as the last FY were let go. This is a classic example of death by a thousand cuts. They should have just made the cuts they needed to post Kronos and Ultimate Software merger. They are still cutting the overlap between the two orgs going into year four, post merger.
