Overall the experience so far has been good in this role. The leaders are supportive where the can be, but there’s not enough inbound…barely any. As a company, UKG is a win for me. As a role, it’s definitely got more challenges than other SAAS sales roles I’ve had.

The base compensation is higher to attract AE’s from UKG’s competition. The training and management was entirely subpar and upper leadership put all the pressure on new AE’s to perform under limited guidance. Inbound leads virtually non-existent and they rely on corny webinars and cheap sales tactics to secure meetings, often leading to wasted time for their AE’s.

Ultimate software (pre merger) seemed to be the best place to go prior to becoming UKG. UKG has a great product, good benefits, however still has a very startup feel post merger - a lot of moving parts that don’t speak to each other yet…
