Overall my experience has been positive. As a 1st time job in inside sale, Verizon has provided the salary and comp that has allowed me to start and build a family. Over time the overly corporate environment and increased demand in the role plus added quota post Covid have really piled on the stress and demand to perform. This has led to moral issues and many feeling disenfranchised. It’s a super corporate gig, so you get what you get…

Overall, I had good experience at Verizon and it funded early stages of my career but no matter what team I was a part of, none of my leaders took me seriously when it came to promoting. They only would after I left but by that point, I've already uprooted my life and left, there was no turning back.

Worked there for seven years and, honestly, regret leaving. Base pay was above average and commission was fair. Benefits were great and it was not a physically demanding job. Mentally, you could have some rough days but overall was fantastic company to work for.
