I am interviewing for an enterprise - growth role on the corp side (not SLED). I've been told by some people the company is turning around and doing well / growing. The reviews and attainment metrics on RepVue are awful. Are things changing going into new FY?

Enterprise, growth and corp….that trio is as hard as it gets at Verkada. The company has always been growing, the product truly sells itself, but that doesn’t mean the quotas aren’t insanely unrealistic. Expect to struggle for at least a year and hope you do enough to stay off a PIP.

Of course revenue is growing, but it’s off the backs of sales reps who had longevity dreams with this company. Great place if you don’t mind interviewing at another company all over again in 2 quarters cause you got the auto PIP from a few people in Sales Ops who couldn’t sell you a glass of water.

The biggest change this FY is the elimination of renewal comp. After 2 years, I’d suggest exploring other opportunities if financial compensation is your primary concern. However, if you’re focused on professional growth and personal development as an IC, it’s a great place to hone your skills.

There is toxic leadership internally. Unfortunately, this probably wont change till IPO and the brotherhood with equity cashes out and start hiring leaders that actually care about the employees livelihood.

Renewed emphasis on net new logo acquisition has greatly helped increase quota attainment in the last year. There are many reps making great money and recently many low performing players were let go, which will help to redistribute territories and increase rep efficiency. They are investing more heavily in tools and enablement and several bad sales leaders left or were fired over last year, including in ANZ, NYC, SLC, Austin and HQ. 
This is a performance culture company and if you're a softie looking for a 9-5, don't work here. If you do well, you will move up fast and there is still great money to be made.

There less than a year, closed two net new customers in ENT SLED. Toxic leadership imo. Lead with fear. Very aggressive ramp plan.
