I wouldn’t recommend the role if you’re going to be strictly net new. The reps that are making money at Verkada have existing accounts. If you can land a Sled role with a book of business you’ll make money. If not, good luck.

its a good school to start but everyone is leaving after ramping quota are unreachable

the motto should be "working here for a good time...not a long time". Unrealistic quotas set by out of touch leadership in a market that contains laggard buying behavior. Physical security is often an afterthought for corporations. Great use cases for K-12 and higher ed. Verkada should verticalize and focus on that market.

Pretty solid experience overall. Company has been tightening up as it scales, getting less fun to work for and becoming harder to over-attain and earn higher commissions.
