Some good leaders but some horrible managers also. Toxic culture of cronyism and highly political advancement process, even for the highest achieving sales people. Advancement is a joke, and micromanagement is the worst of any company I've worked for. Good benefits and great people to work with but the sales strategy is sell everything to everyone but 1:1s are typically about what you shoulda done, even if you're 500% over goal. Selling her Sucks because you have to turn your mind off to survive.

The best part of Grainger is the people you work with. The company does provide some quality training, especially for folks brand new in sales. However, for more seasoned sales individuals, it is a bit basic. Working with their Government accounts, you are restricted in your ability to sell beyond the state/federally approved budget.
