Overhired AEs early in 2021 without having the marketing and branding to support AE funnels and assigned quotas. Poor sales leadership starts with the CRO. Culture has dropped in the past 18 months as expectations have risen with opportunities dropping. The Product isn't ready for Enterprise and is priced high vs. competitors. 1. Poor marketing organization, which includes SDR/BDRs 2. Poor leadership 3. Mediocre solution

Great people, fully remote work is nice. Inefficiencies in sales process, dual leadership model between VIP and Automattic is a little weird.

Great people. Winning culture. Some very cool and likable leaders. Product needs more strategic marketing and a revised approach to be properly positioned and to best align sales team for success. I believe they invested more into product and personnel and will need to transition to aligning marketing with product and innovation advancements for future success.
