Current Employee Current employee for yelp. I took this job to keep income coming in while I applied for other jobs, this place is so toxic. Met a few employees on Reddit they have both been let go at the start of this month. They hang the job over your head even though the "salary" (actually hourly) pay is 37k yearly Imao it's laughable this is unbelievably low for the market. They talk about making 6 figure income and how anyone can do it...... yes anyone can do it by getting another job that actually pays a fair base. I can't wait for the day I get a job offer that is something I'm genuinely interested in cause when I do I will be long gone. They have it set up to where your manager can yell into your ear while ur trying to have a conversation with a client and the client won't be able to hear them. The product is trash, you pretty much are just cold calling as well the leads are far from none everyone you call has been called so much they are so sick of talking to yelp most people are so pissed ur even calling.
