Current Employee My experience in Zscaler’s SDR program left me feeling disappointed overall. While the company offers outstanding tools and software to support sales efforts, the SDR program itself has significant room for improvement. The training lacked depth, and the leadership structure — particularly in the Dallas and Raleigh offices — often felt disconnected from the day-to-day challenges reps faced.
The culture sometimes made it hard for SDRs to feel valued, and the compensation didn’t reflect the demands of the role. Promotion opportunities were limited, which made it difficult to see a long-term path for growth. I believe that with stronger, more engaged leadership and a clearer development plan for SDRs, Zscaler could build a program that better supports and empowers its early-career sales professionals.
