Former Employee My overall experience was pretty good at Beamery. Base pay was fair for the role however it is a start up environment. There were a lot of times we were expected to the jobs of the marketing team as well as the BDR role. There was also a lot of random internal meetings or extremely last minute cancellation of meetings that you were expected to prepare for in advance. It was annoying spending time preparing just for the meeting to get canceled 10 minutes before. The biggest con with this job is there are a lot of layoffs. Year after year, they have laid off 10-20% of their workforce for the last 3 years. I was apart of this recent layoff along with 2 AEs that had been with the company for less than 5 weeks. The pay is decent but there is no job security
