Question

Is Jamf doing anything to address their low base comp? Their ranking on here is pretty terrible compared to peers it seems?

This was an on going conversation especially when Jamf expanded to remote employment at the beginning of the pandemic. A lot of people couldn’t continue to work there as the more senior positions were still so unbelievably under market norm and with rising cost of living.
Sad but that’s why so many have left

In my experience, Jamf is doing nothing to address their low base comp/they have addressed it internally, by saying that at least they’re not laying off like a lot of tech companies, and that Jamf makes up for low base base with “culture”. 
So they’re aware they pay poorly and don’t wish to change this. But it will have to change if they wish to attract and retain top talent in the future. (Just my two cents.)

It seems like after a round of layoffs there have been a lot of promotions so I guess that's one way to increase pay for those who remained.

Late to this question, but Jamf's always going to have a low base pay. AE's can make really good money when you exceed quota, which is not terribly hard. Ultimately Jamf has decided to stick with low base with a great accelerator pay, hate it or love it!

Just my opinion, but was there for a few years. The low base and low overall comp does correlate to the culture. They still havent done a real lay off / RIF in the history of the company.
