Lackluster. They over-hired, didn't understand their market, and recently conducted mass layoffs. I didn't enjoy my experience there.

Placer grew quickly by helping businesses close information gaps with actionable data. While the company achieved impressive growth, it also meant they were extremely frugal, which created challenges internally. They kept things very secretive, and the culture wasn’t great, to say the least. Unfortunately, they recently laid off over 150 people, myself included.

The product itself is good. An accurate high quality data offering. The GTM function is a mess, with a scattergun approach. You get many leads, but 1/10 of them are a good fit. Close rates are very low. Way too many sales people, less than 20% of reps hit quota

Overall, great company to be at. Most of the great reviews are on the SDR team because they have a very close to 100% quota attainment. The AE's do not hit quota, but still a good place to be.
