Current Employee Within past month numerous high performers across all markets have left company. Product is a difficult sell because of licensing, pricing, and length of deal cycle. You are pushed to sell by leaders who haven’t sold a thing since they left MongoDB for higher position at Redis.
Known product in industry but clawing for its life adding new features every week hoping something will work. Leaders preach IPO soon to keep employees sticking around.
Multiple leaders that didn’t come from Mongo but worked for Redis 3+ years have sen/dir positions that are obsolete. Spoke amongst sellers as a hindrance to the growth causing lag in communication and transparency.
Not to say it’s all bad (mostly is) Redis can be a good quick less than one year job to gain experience in the industry and move elsewhere. Do not expect to make a career within this company.
