I think Segment has fallen behind in the CDP space due to resting on its laurels and letting low cost competitors catch up. It’s really hard to make quota without getting lucky on a big deal or 2. Churn is high, inbound leads are slowing, and leadership thinks more prospecting is the answer. Custome.AI seems to be the potential savior here, but we won’t be sure for the next 6 months.

Leadership is clueless. Micro managing and toxic environment. Reasonable compensation but poor leaders to work with.

My experience has overall been a mixed one. Truly not what I was hoping for for a very reputable company. Twilio-Segment is committed to providing reps resources to help you grow. Very supportive in that way. But the amount of work your expected to manage and hit quota is impossible. And it shows by the minimal number of reps that have been hitting quota. Outbound...Read More
