Working for AT&T was good for the training and that’s about it. The commission is awful compared to what you are selling. The compensation is never rewarded. There are no COLA raises. Performance based raises cap at 5%. Benefits are abysmal for a company this size. There is no equity given. Overall this isn’t a company I recommend for longer than a year or if you are brand new to a sales role so you can get some training under your belt.

AT&T is one of those companies people stay at for long periods of time. It's easy to just float along, of course, unless you get laid off which they due every year. Overall, if you can stay it's a pretty good company with typical telecom comp structures.
