The sales organization I have experience with is Digital Inside Sales within Operations. For my level and as an individual contributor the standard bonus (100% attainment) was 10% of my base salary and the maximum bonus (150%+ attainment) was 20% of my base salary.

Selling consulting or systems integration work, really requires an in depth knowledge of the customer, much more then for software and licenses. The solution has no constraints and the challenge is to clearly draw the boundaries and test the appetite with the client. Also Accenture has many processes and really is a huge organisation.
