AWS is an extraordinary company to work for. You have no portfolio restrictions and can sell literally everything. Working back from customer business outcomes is key to success.

100% depends on your manager, and even companies as advanced as AWS can hire complete incompetence. Top performers are side tracked with additional work and useless "side goals" that don't contribute to quota or customer success. Everything was great my first year until there was a change in management - most of the team quit within 6 months.
