AWS offers a very unique four year compensation package that is different than the traditional SAAS providers. Currently, AWS is in the middle of the AI revolution and will continue to profit with this exciting change in the market. Then most challenging aspect of the role is managing customer expectations has their business and revenues are dependant on the stability, flexibility and pricing of AWS.

I've been at AWS for 7 years. The environment is trending sharply downward in 2025 with the RTO that is forcing sales professionals to be in the office 100% of the time if they're not onsite at a customer or partner.
