Huge market opportunity is not matched with strong sales execution. Recent headcount cuts have impacted our ability to execute. Constantly tweaking comp plans to make them worse every year. Compensation plan produces adverse behaviours for AWS. Sellers do tend to struggle with consumption based model as opposed to a product or seat based model. Compensation increases are very slim once you are in AWS and top performers do not get significantly more increases compared to average performers.
