Shocking place to work. Management are extremely short sided, do not accept opinions from anyone and refuse to collaborate. Look at the churn, nobody lasts more than 2 years maximum

Company is downsizing and they’re prioritizing hiring in India over America to cut costs. The environment is not for everyone and there’s a high churn rate.

Avalara is making an effort to improve customer service by hiring a ton of customer account managers. Unfortunately they aren’t incentivizing us correctly and their support is infuriating for customers or internal employees to work with. Not a terrible job. A lot of company changes going on. Went from fully remote to hybrid and it seems like theres going to be a mandatory return to office soon. Quota went up like cazy (nearly tripled). Lead flow has been on the decline.
