CB Insights is innovating incredibly fast, but still competes in a crowded market. Unfortunately, the product lacks a bit of the juice it needs to and struggles to bring value. The market for CBI is quite narrow, but when there a fit, there is not better offing. As a seller this means you're forced to run fairly transactional deal cycles, even in large acccounts. CBI is a great place to cut your teeth as a selller, but may not be the best environment for an experienced enterprise seller.

No one hitting quota - significant changes every 30 days - great product but its a nice to have especially in this market and no one outside of the fortune 500 is buying

The current SaaS sales environment can position the product as a nice to have more than a need to have. Still opportunities to win and deals that are closing, but volume this year is way down compared to prior years.
