I believe Carahsoft is a great place to start in Public Sector IT sales, as they are well respected in the industry. But it does fall short of not offering commission, only bonuses that aren’t clear.

My overall experience here was horrible. I was hired as an SDR but very quickly pushed into an account management role. My pay stayed the same (32K before taxes). Most team members do not hit our lead quota but we do the work of account execs sometimes and it’s full cycle so it doesn’t always work out. Especially during busy season, people are just quoting nonstop so it doesn’t always make it easy to call. And we have to call individually and not use an auto dialer
