My overall experience was positive at Certinia. I was fortunate to have several great managers, who provided excellent support and mentorship. The PSA product is excellent. The unfortunate downside is that the c-suite had an overly optimistic view of the addressable market and over-hired. It’s since been acquired by another PE firm and I’ve heard they have right sized the sales teams. I left for a better opportunity, with no regrets of my time at Certinia.

There was considerable turnover in the past year from leaders, individual contributors, and BDRs. The overall addressable market is limited to organizations with Professional Services organizations with size. The workforce was generally pleasant.

Toxic leadership and toxic sales culture. This organization is rotten to its core. If you value your sales career progression at all, avoid Certinia at all costs.
