My overall experience was positive. The product needs major updates and the customers are willing to provide feedback. Once the product is updated to a more modern tech stack, it will be a great place to work again.

The product is sound...and comprehensive. In South Africa the competition from Snowflake and Databricks is tough. Cloudera remains at the forefront of the hybrid offerings. Good place to work.

Complex product, highly competitive market, down hill revenues, few new logos, sales based on renewals and expansions on current install base. AEs are laid off one month before close large deals in Q4 that would make them achieve 100% quota. Clearly the company is avoiding paying the commission based on this unfair play.
