The product is sound...and comprehensive. In South Africa the competition from Snowflake and Databricks is tough. Cloudera remains at the forefront of the hybrid offerings. Good place to work.

Market relevance/product fit is a big challenge. And this becomes the salesperson's burden and responsibility. Pay and benefits are the lure here but the culture from either Cloudera or Hortonworks pre-merger is long gone.
