Overall Comcast business is a solid company and has a strong product portfolio after acquiring both Masergy and Nitel. The struggles are mostly internal struggles when it comes to juggling multiple systems and difficult sales processes, as an account executive where the primary job is cold calling and prospecting to set appointments with new leads, you must be proficient in cold calling by phone and email as well as in person in order to reach prospects and set appointments with qualified decision makers. You will get absolutely nothing from the company in terms of inbound leads or active accounts, so it is up to you to build your territory from scratch. If you are a true hunter who is comfortable with building your own company lists and prospect lists and setting your own appointments you will be very successful and there is money to make, so far the vast majority of people in the out of footprint team struggle with appointment setting because of lack of prospecting skills which is a short sight on the company Overestimating and assuming competency in outbound prospecting which is not the case for many recent hires.
