Lack of headcount for AE roles means little to no SDR to AE promotions. SDR management/Leadership has changed drastically and often in the past 2 years. No proven method of success. Massive rebuild/restructure over last two years. Growing pains of a company going from 1.5k to 3k employees. Otherwise, very cool product and solves very technical and important problems. Some very very good AES and SEs to learn from. Good people to be around mostly.

My experience at Confluent overall was positive. They have strong enablement and support for sales. That said, at the time there was a severe misalignment between between the go to market strategy and the sales comp plan which made it very challenging for reps to hit their attainment goals.
