Even post-acquisition, Coupa remains a good place to work as an SC. There’s no more employee stock purchase plan or equity for individual contributors now, but the base pay and commission structure are decently above market. Most hiring seems to be done outside of the US at this point, but it will be interesting to see how that holds up with some pretty aggressive revenue growth targets put into place by Thoma Bravo.

Leadership is fairly weak and a lot of changes for FU26. The golden days of Coupa are over.

Coupa is a good company with unlimited sales tools and resources. As a market leader, they provide strong support for success. However, career progression can take time, and navigating the complexity of the product offerings can be challenging.
