Overall this is a great if not the best place for an SDR or a BDR to find themselves to get to the next stage of their career. Unsure if it’s the best fit for experienced sellers unless you get into midmarket, enterprise, or key accounts because that is where the product really shines. For the commercial side of things it’s a bit of a grind but you learn a lot and learn quick with A+ development from leadership and sales enablement. Highly recommend for anyone looking to make the jump from SDR to AE if you have the opportunity to get in the door because it’s very competitive. Lots of growth too if you can cut it but if you can’t having Datadog on your resume will get a foot in the door and a recruiter to at least look twice at you if you try to go some somewhere else.

My overall experience was normal. Pay is lower than industry standard. Team here in Singapore is fine - AE team is pretty saturated and the account situation is not the best, considering that we are a mature company.

New payment structure in 2024 is very desirable. Leadership seems to have a stronger focus on finding ways for reps to hit quota. Many more reps should hit their yearly number in 2024.
